We who live in Reno are just waiting for the wall of water to come racing down the Truckee river when the Tahoe dam gives way... We're not close to that happening... yet... but we watch...;)

I wonder how much water was added behind the Oroville dam? It's also not the only California dam in danger either...

Winter has come to the upper midwest!
Guess I am ready as I can be....maybe next winter I will become a snowbird lol.

It snowed here two weeks ago, but its in the 70's again today. Maybe you'll have the same luck over there!

I guess that I'm ready as can be, for this winter as well.

What I've bought since this last February.
1 buddy heater
1 fan for setting on top of a wood stove, seeing how it'll work with the buddy heater
Several 1LB propane tanks, for the heater.
more just in case candle's
1 power solar power bank for recharging phone and tablet during a power outage.
1 rechargable fan.to help to cerculate the air during a outage.
more long John's.
I still need winter gloves and a ski mask.

The weather forecasters are guessing at a couple snap all the way down into the deep south for Thanksgiving week, so you may be testing those preps out soon.
