So...I get a letter from my county land use department today. In it they state that my "grass" is too tall.

Well I'm zoned AG so what difference does tall prairie grass make?

They also state that I have a permit to construct a house that is 2 years old. Which they have already extended until aug of this year. So, I ask under my breath (not that anyone is listening to what I am reading). They also state that excavation has not been done, and in the same paragraph they state that there is a hole in my driveway with rebar in it...say what?

That is the excavation for the foundation that I am NOT going to start in this crappy state!

    Calgon take me away lol

Can you ask for a refund on that permit?
