    I will add that the smaller hose means less water which means less dewatering and that is a very big consideration. Half of my fire training last week dealt with stability and effects of using a 100 gpm fire hose on a fire.

    "dewatering" means removing the water that was sprayed onboard the ship? Put the fire out but sink the ship anyway...

    Less common but still widely used are what appear to be additional solar heaters to further increase the temp. Why chrome and not black i have no idea. 20181127_122831.jpg

    Yeah.unles chrome takes in more heat.which i doubt. It makes more sense to go with black,or some other dark color that takes in heat
