Well, after almost a year of negotiating and mostly waiting, we have a date to move. So for the next couple of weeks I'll be up to my eyes in boxes and packing. I'll pop in when I can and maybe post a pic of the new house once we're in. :)

I'm beginning to have dreams about boxes already. The damn Cat seems to think every one I make up is especially for him to play in. He does love a cardboard box!:D

All of my cats have loved boxes. Didn't matter how big or small the box, they wanted to play inside it. At least half of them were even born in a cardboard box because that's where their Mom went to have them.

So what is the attraction about? I have no clue.

It's probably similar to thumb sucking and fetal position for kids.

Hang in there @Sally Rudd! It's all going to be worth it!

Almost there now. Packing canning jars and the last shelf of home canned food.
I did run down the cans and home canned stores a bit so will look to replace them once we've moved
My son and the cat are going on saturday, I am camping in the living room to get the cleaning done for a couple of days. It's easier to blitz an empty house.

I can just see the scene at the customs inspection booth as you try to bring in a bunch of home canned food... It would be confiscated and then eaten in the back room by the NSA agents...:cool::p:D:cool::cool:

True story, I 'accidentally' dropped a $100 top shelf bottle of Bourbon at border control when I flew out of Richmond Airport as I'd forgotten it was in my hand luggage after the TSA guard happily said to his pal "looks like we'll be enjoying this tonight" Not with my bottle they didn't :mad:Barstewards.

I had the exact same thing happen to me, except it was in Cabo and it was tequila. I was pretty upset too.
