I said I'd shave it off, but that takes time and if we get an alert, I want to have the respirator hood on in seconds, not the minutes it would take to shave. If I have time, later, I would shave, really, honest...

I’m getting a PAPR system because it’s pushing out and therefore doing more to prevent it from coming in.

If there was a way to hook a scuba mouthpiece to the input if a regular respirator and vent the exhale thru the mask that would be a non-PAPR system that I would go with. It would be a closed system from filter(s) intake to lungs AND provide a positive exhalation pressure.

You get the idea that I’m pretty picky?

    Yes.

As a person who wears respirators of various shapes and sizes for a living I would say that having something you know 100% works for you is going to be priority number 1. Having a seal is not a suggestion, it is life and death important.

the 2 in the middle.are the mask and filter.their gas mask and a complete outfit for each mask.the filter has 68 on it.so im having my doubts when it comes to corono virus.

edit.their over 12 years old.so quality may be way down.

that's good.but i have the suit as well as the mask and canister. I could be mistaken.im guessing that i can sell the 2 sets for $50 to $70 each..and if i do that.then that's money in the pocket.
