I posted about this earlier, but cannot find the thread now, so I'm starting again...

This was shopping day and I noted the following:
Beef up. Hamburger used to be about 2.70-2.80/lb. now is $3.14/lb
Chicken is holding steady at about 0.77/lb
Pork is also holding steady at about 1.79/lb

What do your prices look like?

Similar here. I'm still not seeing a rise in the cost of pork, much to my surprise.

Same here. I wonder where the pork is coming from to fill the demand at these low prices?
    Will these prices hold?

I should also point out that we shop hard and these are the lowest prices in our area (Reno, NV).
We could pay A LOT MORE if we used Safeway or other national outlets. Good thing we're not that dumb...

    Shopping day for us.
    Pork chops - $1.32/lb (good)
    Hamburger - $3.14/lb (ouch)
    Chicken thighs - $0.86/lb (good)

What are price like where you live?

About the same. Hamburger by the pound close to $3. Patty’s even closer to $3.
Pork chops and chicken thighs about the same as yours.

Prices have not fluctuated much, yet.

With China in shutdown, I wonder if pork prices, here in the US, will go down?
Beef hasn't changed much either, in spite of the herd loses in the midwest (US) floods.
    Curiouser and curiouser...

With the floods, I think it’d more that the pork prices won’t go up due to China not being in the picture.

I suspect beef is going to pop up in price in a couple of months. You know - just in time for the start of grill season.
