Canned meats, what do you store?

    Not to mention extra restroom trips.

    Im getting 8 pints of chicken.and 2 pints of broth out of this.

    Same here.had a case of it in 2917.my mom had ended up with a package of womens pull ups or what ever thier called,from a hospital stay.the package is no longer full.

    I don't re-can food anymore. I did it once but the results were not good and I've never done it since. So now if I have any failures I freeze it. It's all down to personal preference, but worth mentioning.

    @Sally Rudd good advice. The other option is to have a huge meal and consume it, or make a big pot of soup.

    How fresh/old it is..is what decides it for me.the ordeal was fresh.so i went ahead n recanned it.but i would of stuck into the fridge or thrown it away if it were a day or 2 old situation.
