    This is why we need backup communication systems. Cellphones are not reliable.

    No matter how much you are paying for your cellphone connection, they money does NOT go toward maintaining the cellphone tower system in a power outage.

    If you're not a HAM, then get one of the walky-talky communications sets, such as GRMS, FRS, CB, etc.
