    I note the recommendation to use plastic lattice on shelves to stop glass jars form sliding off and breaking. I never keep glass jars where they can slide off and fall. I use/reuse plastic containers on all of our higher shelves. Yes, plastic containers are NOT resealable and should NOT be used for long term storage. I refill mine from bulk containers as I use them up. Think, flour, rice, beans, oatmeal, sugar, spices, powdered milk, potato flakes, etc. The bulk containers sit on or near the floor and are NOT made of easily breakable materials.

    Good info in this one. I hadn't thought about glass jars sliding off and breaking. I'll have to do some reorganizing to cover this.
