    I know the Truckee is running at a consistently high level at the moment.

    I do believe this record snowpack for the region is one of the many signs that we are swinging back to a cooler overall climate. It was produced by the warming trend, that is losing steam, by getting the moisture up into the atmospheric river. And the cooling of the higher elevations the further north you go, brought it down as snow.

    Just my opinion.
